Augustana Lutheran Church |

Founded in 1880, Augustana Lutheran Church has
grown to be one of the largest Lutheran congregations in Colorado. The
church worshiped entirely in Swedish until the 1920s, and Swedish services
continued well into the 1960s. Augustana's hilltop location in in east
Denver make it, along with with the Greek Orthodox Cathedral's golden dome,
a visual landmark.
