M. Susan Brown

Ms. Brown has been composing since an early age. She graduated with honors from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in music theory and composition. At Mount Holyoke her composition A Latin Mass won the Phi Beta Kappa prize, and she was elected the Carolyn Murray Reyer Music Scholar. She earned master's degrees in librarianship and accountancy at the University of Denver and a music performance degree from Yale University, where she was the Julia Loomis Havemeyer Scholar. Her compositions and arrangements have been performed all over the United States and the Virgin Islands.  Ms. Brown has sung with St. Martin's Chamber Choir for a number of years.
