Janet Vanden Bosch
(b. 1941, Franklin, Louisiana) Her compositions include works for piano, a cappella chorus, mixed chorus with string quartet, children's chorus, electronic instruments with solo soprano, and musical theater. Her music has been performed by the Worship Through the Arts ensemble at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, the University of Denver's Lamont Chorale, St. Martin's Chamber Choir, and public school and church groups. Her setting of Todd Morley's "These Few Tears," in memory of Mark Sheldon, appears on St. Martin's Chamber Choir's CD The Unknown Masterpiece. Ms. Vanden Bosch has a B.M. in piano performance from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and an M.A. in music composition from the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. |
