Outreach to Denver Public Schools

An exciting educational outreach to the schools is St. Martin's "Paint to Music" program.  This synthesis of music, visual art, and movement has been very rewarding for both the school children involved and for the the choir.  Read more about "Paint to Music".

St. Martin's also offers free concert tickets to Denver Public Schools music teachers to help to draw the worlds of professional performance and classroom education a little closer.

Outreach to local colleges

Members of St. Martin's have presented a number of lecture/concerts to large classes at the University of Colorado-Boulder.  During 2002 St. Martin's presented master classes and concerts at Metropolitan State College of Denver while serving as Visiting Artists-in-Residence. Each year choral conducting students from Metro State are given the opportunity to conduct St. Martin's in rehearsal.

St. Martin's sponsors a conducting internship program in cooperation with local colleges.  Each year through the support of the Mark Sheldon Fund a conducting student has the opportunity to work with St. Martin's in an ongoing professional capacity.

Outreach to the Community

St. Martin's is pleased to make complimentary tickets available to underserved groups in the Denver area through ArtReach.
