Water Music
In land-locked Denver? You bet! Not on barges anchored on the Thames. Not in earshot of Hampton Court. Imagine a David Hockney-esque twist on Tudor: A poolside venue in east Denver’s historic Montclair neighborhood; a gourmet Sunday brunch at a “California contemporary” home; an accompaniment of nautically-inspired music. Should be a royally good time.

A 14-er Trek
A high-country hike to Democrat, Lincoln and Bross mountains. These peaks are clustered very close together, so here’s a unique opportunity (closed to hikers for several years) to “bag” three 14-ers in a single day. These mountains are not far from Denver, northwest of the town of Alma, near the northwestern-most corner of Pike National Forest. This Feast is intended for those who have had some experience hiking in the high country. An early-morning start time will allow for a slow, steady pace for our ascents. Trail food will be provided, but each person should bring three bottles of water and a fully-provisioned daypack, and wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes.
