Hubert Parry’s poignant
Songs of Farewell form the basis of this concert marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that changed our world. Written during the final year of Parry’s life as a conscious reflection on the transitory nature of existence, they make a powerful statement. Other works by Eric Whitacre, Terry Schlenker, William Schuman and other American composers. Read pre-concert article from the Denver Post Read concert review from the Denver Post
(One performance only) II. Brahms' Liebeslieder
Waltzes
A quartet of singers accompanied by duo-pianists render these delightful, jewel-like miniatures. In this performance, the waltzes themselves will be interspersed with readings of the texts, rendered in such a way as to highlight the rustic and often doggerel nature of the poetry Brahms chose. Come prepared to laugh and be surprised! [Concert Program]
III. Bach's Christmas Oratorio St. Martin's Chamber Choir and Pro Musica Colorado Chamber Orchestra join forces for two performances of

God to Thee - Remembering the Titanic
One hundred years later, the sinking of the “unsinkable” Titanic still fascinates. St. Martin’s will render Edwardian-era seafaring favorites, as well as works known to have been sung or performed during the voyage, recreating what was truly “A Night to Remember.”
