Welcome!

Our 30th Anniversary Season presents an exciting variety of glorious choral music, from the classic concerts that our patrons know and love to breaking-the-mold concepts of what a classical choral concert could be. Among the latter is a dramatic rendering of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with the choir acting as accompaniment to the story, providing incidental music based on familiar and beloved Christmas carols.

2023 marks the 150th birth year of Sergei Rachmaninoff, and to celebrate this notable birthday the expanded choir, St. Martin’s Festival Singers, begins the season with his iconic and beloved All-Night Vigil, commonly known as the Vespers. We then perform a lovely prelude to the holiday season with an Advent-themed concert, followed by the Dickens A Christmas Carol concert.

In early 2024, in collaboration with the choirs and instrumentalists of MSU Denver, we perform Carl Orff’s thrilling Carmina Burana for the first time in our history, in the composer’s version for two pianos and percussion. In April we mark the 25th anniversary of the Columbine tragedy by teaming up with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra and high school musicians from Columbine and other area schools. Finally, we boost off into outer space and conclude the season with “Mystical Resonance.”

You will not want to miss a single concert, so I encourage you to take advantage of significant savings and other benefits by purchasing season subscriptions. I look forward to seeing you at next season’s concerts!
