The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Narrative of Carols

F U L L  E N S E M B L E  (WITH ORGAN)

St. Martin’s Christmas concerts are a holiday tradition with many hundreds – this year’s concert adds a dramatic, narrative aspect. ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ – referring to the length of the Yuletide Season of the Church calendar – is depicted by St. Martin’s in Twelve scenes, each fashioned around an episode in the Christmas story.  Each scene will be preceded by a dramatic or poetic reading, and then musically portrayed by carols, some familiar, some soon-to-be-favorites, and a few sing-along opportunities.
