Matthew Bentley

Matt has been with St. Martin’s Chamber Choir for over a dozen years. He grew up in a musical family with a harpist mother and a harp-mover father, and has played the piano and cello since childhood. He is a staff singer at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and teaches Spanish at Kent Denver School, where he recently joined the Quindecim fifteen-year club. Matt graduated summa cum laude from BYU and holds a doctorate in Medieval and Renaissance Spanish Literature from the University of Virginia. He lives in the Baker neighborhood with his partner, Frank.
