Michael Tambornino

Tenor Michael Tambornino is a Minneapolis native who is feeling right at home in beautiful Colorado. After studying vocal performance at University of Minnesota, he went on to sing with MN Opera, MN Chorale, and The Singers: Minnesota Choral Artists. While living in Tennessee for a few years, he was a founding member of Vocal Arts Nashville. He has also made several trips across the pond to sing at the Internationale Bachakademie in Stuttgart, which yielded performance tours in Germany, Italy, and Chile. Over the years, Tambo has had the privilege of working with such masters as Dale Warland, Helmut Rilling, Kathy Romey, and Matthew Culloton. Beyond ensemble singing, he has played keyboards and bass in a few rock bands. And he has even found his way to the stage in a few musical productions. When he is not making music, he can be found climbing cliffs, reading novels, or cooking tasty vegan food.
