British Folksongs & Partsongs

St. Martin’s takes a tour through the British Isles, presenting beloved and unique arrangements of folksongs and partsongs with works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten, Charles Stanford, and others. A concert of this title and theme was the first one canceled in April, 2020 due to the pandemic, so the sheet music has been sitting unsung on Maestro Krueger’s file cabinet for almost three years! Now is the perfect time to resurrect this program as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ralph Vaughan Williams.
